Overview
Why choose metallic epoxy
Metallic epoxy is the statement floor. We prepare the slab, lay a pigmented base coat, then hand-pour and manipulate a metallic resin layer before sealing it under a hard-wearing clear coat.
Because the pigment keeps moving until the resin cures, no two floors are ever the same. You choose the palette and the kind of movement you like, from soft marble veining to deep, dramatic swirls, and the pour does the rest.
Where it works best
Metallic floors suit spaces where the floor is part of the design: open-plan living areas, showroom-style garages, salons, retail and hospitality fit-outs. The seamless surface has no grout lines, so it is easy to keep clean.
Living with it
- Sweep or dust-mop regularly and wash with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries to limit fine scratches.
- Fine anti-slip aggregate can be added to the top coat for garages and wet areas.
We’ll bring real samples to your site so you can see the colours in your own light before anything is poured.
What you get
Built to look and last.
01
Ground, not just cleaned
Every slab is diamond-ground and moisture-tested so the coating bonds to sound concrete, not to dust or old sealer.
02
Pigment that moves
Metallic pigments drift and settle as the resin cures, giving a three-dimensional, marbled finish no one else will have.
03
Clear protective top coat
A UV-stable, scratch-resistant clear coat locks in the design and keeps it easy to clean.
04
Choose the mood, not the pattern
You pick the colour palette and movement; the pour decides the final veining. We'll show you real samples first.
How it's installed
Five steps to a flawless floor.
The same careful sequence on every job. Exact products, coats and cure times are set out in your quote.
01
Prep & grind
We diamond-grind the slab to open the surface, remove old sealers or adhesive, and test for moisture before anything is applied.
02
Repair
Cracks, chips and joints are filled and ground flush so imperfections do not telegraph through the finish.
03
Prime & base coat
A primer soaks into the ground concrete for adhesion, followed by a base coat that sets the colour and build.
04
Hand pour
Metallic resin is poured and worked by hand while it is wet, so the pigment drifts into depth and veining as it cures.
05
Clear top coat
A clear protective top coat locks the design in, with fine anti-slip aggregate added where it is needed.

Questions
Good to know.
Will my floor look exactly like the photos?
No two metallic pours are the same. We match the palette and style you choose, but the pattern forms as the resin settles — that's what makes it yours.
Is metallic epoxy slippery?
The gloss finish is smooth, but we can add a fine anti-slip aggregate to the top coat for wet areas, garages and commercial spaces.
