Overview

Why choose flake epoxy

Flake epoxy is the practical choice for garages and work spaces: tough, easy to clean, and available in dozens of colour blends to suit your home.

The system is built in layers. A pigmented epoxy base coat goes down over the ground slab, decorative vinyl flake is broadcast into it while wet, and a clear top coat seals everything in. The result is a textured, forgiving surface that handles tyres, tools and everyday dirt.

Choosing a blend

Lighter blends brighten a garage and make dropped parts easier to find; darker, busier blends hide dust and marks between cleans. We’ll bring flake samples so you can compare them against your walls, cabinetry and lighting.

Looking after it

  • Hose or mop with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Wipe up oil and chemical spills promptly.
  • Avoid dragging sharp metal objects across the surface.

What you get

Built to look and last.

  • 01

    Built for tyres and tools

A high-build epoxy base with broadcast vinyl flake and a clear top coat stands up to hot tyres, dropped tools and daily traffic.

  • 02

    Hides the everyday

The flake blend disguises dust, small marks and surface imperfections between cleans.

  • 03

    Oil and chemical resistant

Spills wipe straight off. No more stained, dusting concrete.

  • 04

    Anti-slip as standard

The flake texture gives natural grip, with extra aggregate available for ramps and wet areas.

How it's installed

Five steps to a flawless floor.

The same careful sequence on every job. Exact products, coats and cure times are set out in your quote.

  1. 01

    Prep & grind

We diamond-grind the slab to open the surface, remove old sealers or adhesive, and test for moisture before anything is applied.

  2. 02

    Repair

Cracks, chips and joints are filled and ground flush so imperfections do not telegraph through the finish.

  3. 03

    Prime & base coat

A primer soaks into the ground concrete for adhesion, followed by a base coat that sets the colour and build.

  4. 04

    Broadcast flake

Decorative vinyl flake is broadcast into the wet base coat, then the excess is scraped and vacuumed once cured.

  5. 05

    Clear top coat

A clear top coat seals the flake for a hard-wearing, easy-to-mop surface with natural grip.
